Job Description and Responsibilities:

Key Discovery is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our sales team in Boston. Candidate should have proven success in selling document services in the copy, scan, and print industry. The candidate needs to deliver a proactive leadership style to achieve profitable and productive sales goals and initiatives.

Key areas of business development include: sales coverage, account planning, pipeline management, deal management, business acumen, strategic sales planning & Implementation, coaching & performance management, employee development, and a growth mindset.

This position requires a candidate to:

  • Develop well targeted sales plans which include goals, objectives and strategies that ensure maximum profitability
  • Build plans that articulate the strategies & requirements essential for focused sales activity in pipeline
  • Lead, motivate and counsel sales team and CSR’s to meet or exceed sales revenue, gross profit, and expenses
  • Create a successful sales culture while building a strong camaraderie with production that is customer service oriented
  • Assist in sales calls and help coordinate and prepare proposals and presentations
  • Ensure sales meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, demonstrations/presentations and closing of sales
  • Exemplify personal character, emotional commitment, organizational skills, selling skills and work habits
  • Conduct regular coaching and counseling sessions for sales team
  • Manage sales team by observing and documenting performance, providing leadership, feedback, recognition and guidance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business
  • 3+ years’ of sales experience
